Christian DALIBERT 克里斯迪安.達利貝爾
French 1946
Born in 1946 in Le Havre, France, Dalibert received his art education at the Ecole des Beaux-Art du Havre and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts of Munich. Originated from a coastal city, sea has served as a constant source of light and inspiration for Dalibert's creation. Refused to drift along Cubism, Dalibert established himself as a colorist and neo-impressionist. He has adopted a warm palette to achieve harmony and tranquility in his paintings. He favors the use of monochromatic yet descriptive construction to create a juxtaposition of different planes which transfers life and soul to his paintings. He has created series of anguished birds, magnificent still life objects and sceneries, all of these paintings give a vehement literary expression. Dalibert was awarded the Prize of the City of Havre in his hometown. Since the 1970s, he has participated in a large number of exhibitions in France, Germany, Switzerland, Qatar, the United States and Japan. Some of his exhibitions in recent years include 2009 "Artists Group Exhibition: Christian Dalibert, Gilbert Dauguet, Sylef and Vincent Lajarige", Le Havre; 2010 "Dalibert and His Tranquil World", Le Havre; 2011-2012 "Christian Dalibert", Brest.
