Su Chung-Ming from Kaohsiung was graduated from the Faculty of Arts at the Tunghai University. Since 2007, he has organized several solo exhibitions of Chinese scholars' ink paintings with reference to traditions, painting techniques of the West and contemporary ideologies of the modern society. New interpretations of landscape and life are reflected on his paintings. With regard to techniques, he used dry brush and cun strokes to depict the refined texture of landscape. Such techniques also depicts light and shadow, bringing liveliness and elusiveness to the classical landscape.
