Wang Ya-hui was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She holds a Masters Degree in Arts and Technology from the Taipei National University of the Arts. She has also held residency programs at Location One (New York, 2006), the Cité des Arts (Paris, 2007) and the Helsinki International Artist Program (2010). Her practice, which encompasses videos, installations, and photographs, attends to the slight changes in our surroundings, and often focuses on quiet, almost imperceptible moments.
