Cao Hui was born in Kun Ming, and was graduated from Department of Sculptures in Yunnang Academy of Fine Arts, acquired bachelor degree. In 2000 he graduated from the graduated school of Department of Sculptures in Central Academy of Fine Arts. He participated in the Yunnang Shen art exhibition and the 8th National Art Exhibition in 1994.
