Japanese 1984

Born in 1984 and growing up in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, at the age of seven, he began to practice Western painting. In 2007, he moved to Brooklyn, New York to continue his artistic career. His creation has been cultivated by graffiti culture and pop art in both Europe and the United States. Most of his works are made of collage with composite media, and the surface is transformed with the application of materials such as plastic, paint or cutting. His most famous series "Out Of Bounds", where brushstrokes break through the boundary of the canvas and exist independently, they are presented in a complete and three-dimensional manner, with a feeling of splashing out the graffiti, achieving the combined effect of high chroma and complex style. The art of Yamaguchi is full of vitality, but also demonstrates elegance and tenacity, giving viewers strong visual impact, which makes the visual experience rather unforgettable, completely equipped with distinctive personal temperament. His works have been exhibited at the Ace Hotel, Kinfolk 94, +81 Gallery in New York, and the Hidari Jingaro in Tokyo. Important projects in recent years include the "Urban Art Fair New York" in 2017, and his latest is the solo exhibition "Listen to the Solitude" held in September 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.
