CHEN Hui-chiao 陳慧嶠

Chen was born in Tamsui in 1964 and graduated from the Experimental Art Class of Youde High School in 1982. She was the Planning Director of the "IT Park" project during 1988-1998 and held the first personal exhibition in 1995. In 1996, her works were selected for the "7th International Contemporary Art Competition, Osaka Triennale" held in Osaka, Japan. She created small object art and devices in her early years and was dedicated to bigger artistic works in recent years. She uses the combination of roses, needles, and threads as well as cold frames made from stainless steel and acrylic. Her works were collected by Peter Boris, PaceWildenstein Gallery Director, Dimension Endowment of Art, and Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
