Manami Higashi was born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, in 1988, and she obtained her Master's degree in Art from Jyoshibi University of Art and Design in 2013. She transforms characters from the two-dimensional realm into three-dimensional forms, skillfully giving fixed motion to the spinning actions on canvas, resulting in a unique creation in the fourth dimension. Higashi uses a rich palette of colors to create a sense of movement and time, aiming for viewers to feel the dynamic energy emanating from the rotating models. Her works have been exhibited in various locations, including Japan, New York, and Hong Kong.
