LIU Yong 劉墉
Taiwanese 1949

Liu Yong was born in 1949 in Taipei. He practised Chinese Landscape paintings with Hu Nianzu and received education at the Arts Faculty of the National Taiwan Normal University. Later Liu pursued his artistic and education career as a teacher in Taipei Chenggong High School, Associate Professor of St John's University in New York and Saint Vincent College. As an artist, he was invited to the National Museum of History, the National Taiwan Museum, the National Dr Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, the Washington and Lee University, the National Art Museum of China, the China Art Museum and the Art Museum of the Beijing Fine Art Academy. His works were kept in the collection of the National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, the National Museum of History and the Chinese Cultural Center of New York.
